Extended Family US is able to make positive changes for women who have been victims of domestic violence, and turn them and their children into survivors. We are working hard towards putting an end to domestic violence through charitable
donations by people like you. Your tax-deductible contribution will be
used to support our programs that assist victims and survivors of
domestic violence.

Non-Monetary Donations (Our Wish List)

- Gift certificates from area stores, e.g., Target, Sears, Meijers, Mervyns, Linen and Things, etc. These gifts are
given to women who reside in emergency shelters and are in need of bacis necessities.
- Office equipment, e.g., laser printers, fax machines, desktop computers, laptops, and projectors
- Support for Telecommunications and Computer Networking
- Commercial refrigerators, stoves, washers or dryers
- "Memories" Gift Baskets that include items such as a photo album, film and camera. Many times, when women
are forced to leave their homes, they must also leave behind pictures, and other memorabilia of family and friends. The
"Memories" gift baskets help women to begin creating new life-long memories.
- "I Am Safe" Gift Baskets that include stationery, envelopes, stamps, pen, rubber stamps, ink pad, etc., so
that women and their children residing in shelters can send letters to family and friends.
- "Welcome to Your New Home" Buckets that include bleach, cleaning products, toilet bowl brush, paper towel,
and other household cleaning supplies for families that are moving into their new homes.
- "All About Me" Gifts that include journals, pens, and pencils. Keeping a journal is a very powerful and
therapeutic tool for adults and children who have been impacted by domestic violence.
- Gas cards to support the transportation needs (e.g., to work, school, day-care, etc) of victims and survivors of
domestic violence
